(Not that I care that much, you know. *squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee*!)
Anyway, back to today’s post, with that minor addition made.
Hope you’ll join me for some of these fun events if you’ll be in my area at the time. (As an aside, if Omnivore continues their current trend, they will soon have a different author speaking every day, twice a day, and drive themselves to an early grave, but let’s get in on the fun while it’s available! Among the things I’m not going to there but would, given unlimited time and energy: Tyler Florence; Sarabeth Levine; etc.)

I’ll be live-blogging the conference. More details on that soonish.
I’m a hardcore introvert, which should tell you how much I’ve been wanting to go to this conference. Two days in the city, with a bunch of strangers? Yeah, not usually my speed, but I’m realllllly looking forward to this.
I’ve been blogging since 2001, and I post a lot to my personal blog/journal, but this blog is different. My personal journal is, well, personal in a way, even though it’s public, and I do whatever I want with it, and it doesn’t feel in any way like public property. This blog, though—It’s collaborative, and organized, and I am really looking forward to finding ways to make it better, and to meeting some of the amazing bloggers I’ve been fangirl-squeeing over for years.
So look out, BlogHer Food, here I come!

Madhur Jaffrey writes wonderful, clear recipes for Indian and other foods one can make at home. I am a huge fangirl, and even though it’ll be a stretch for me to make it to the city twice in a month, I’m gonna go for it.

That’s awesome! I know you’ll be busy blogging and cooking, but if you have a chance to check out San Fran, you MUST! Amazing eateries over there, in particular a place called Cafe Mason that has the most unique creations I have eaten thus far :-)
