Sometimes I think I should start carrying around my camera so I can get the shots I want, but then I remember that I prefer to enjoy what I’m doing rather than spending all my time setting up a shot, so I rely on the wonderful photographers in my life. Here, have a few shots of Carol’s over-the-top holiday Open House. We had a blast, and I still haven’t fully recovered. Of all the food we made, we really only got shots of the rolls before we got too busy to bother, but there are some great ones of the decorations, and those are really the stars of the show.
Around 40 people attended, but I don’t have their permission to show them, so you’re getting just a taste of the fun. Next year, come along and join us. It was really a great time.

the amount of decos impressed me! wow…..and besides that you seemed to have fun which is the most important :) passed by from sits
Carol goes NUTS with decorating her place. People walk in and their eyes go VERY WIDE. :-)
Those pictures look like my mom’s house. For that matter, my grandmom’s house! I love the thesis for your blog. Mine is that it’s not about dining, but dining together. Good stuff! Happy holidays!
Oh, I love that, Angela! I can’t wait to go see your blog; you’re clearly a long-lost sister. :-)
Oh, hee! I didn’t connect your name with your blog. I already love it. :-)
Oooh, I could use some rolls like that right now!
Being a person who usually spends most of a party either following the kids around or sitting in a corner reading a book, having my little camera with me all the time both expands the menu of activities I feel most comfortable with and gets me thanked for documenting the goings on.
I love it, and have one of the Hallmark Spider-Man ornaments swinging over my computer desk myself!
wow—it’s all I can say is wow–so much stuff!
